HEM Ashram Foundation Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization with the goal of inspiring donors to support our educational Mission and Vision. We are committed to supporting charitable, educational, social and wellness services provided by non-governmental organizations (NGOs), in rural and tribal regions. Such as the school and hostel facilities of Holistic Education Mission Ashram at Jagiri, India, and similar NGOs. No child should be left behind By raising awareness in the USA, and supporting the excellent work being performed by NGOs in rural and isolated areas, we want to further our vision to ensure that all kids have an opportunity to acquire knowledge, in a safe environment. Our main thrust is focused on supporting an English medium school and hostel at the Holistic Education Mission Ashram (www.HEM.org.in). This NGO is in a remote mountainous region on the border of Maharashtra and Gujarat, India. We eventually hope to spread our wings to support other similar schools as well. HEM-Jagiri nurtures the children on campus, and interacts with their parents, to help them create a happy, positive and a sustainable environment at home.
